Chriss and Holly Jackson

May 21, 2011- Logan Utah- LDS Temple
Chriss and Holly Jackson

I have had so much fun with these two love birds, from engagements, to bridals with Holly and then the BIG day. We were a little worried about the weather, it was supposed to rain and be miserable, but the Heavens smiled upon us and we ended up with beautiful sunshine and warm weather to welcome Chriss and Holly in their new life together. We had so much fun taking pictures, we all just laughed- A LOT!! Needless to say I ended up with a gazillion pictures and so that is my reason for taking so long sharing these pictures. I am only showing a few, so if you want to see more- well you will just have to find Chriss and Holly.

Here they are when they first come out of the temple. Can't you just see them glow?

How cute are they?

The tulips (and all the other flowers and trees) were so amazingly beautiful, we had to take a moment with them.

Here are just some fun pictures from around the temple- AFTER we took all those fun family pictures.

THE RECEPTION...
I love trying to capture some moments of mother and daughter trying to get ready for the reception. It is so touching to be a part of those moments. It always brings me back to my wedding day....(tear). Sometimes we just can't do it without our moms!!

Ah, one of the best parts of the evening- THE CAKE!! These two are so fun and full of energy I knew this was NOT going to be a proper cake feeding. Yep, I was correct. It turned into a lovely food fight, and a big mess all over! But what FUN!!

Holly

I have to say that I have a love/hate relationship with Spring in Idaho. It can be so beautiful and so cold, which is what it turned out to be when Holly and I headed out to take her Bridal pictures. We were brave and tough, and made it through- Holly looking absolutely stunning! I can't wait for the wedding! I sure love this girl and it is such a blessing to be doing this for her.

Introducing...

Alex and Jodi Averett
I was so blessed to be able to capture such wonderful moments in the lives of this amazing couple. Of course, I happen to be biased- Jodi is my cousin. I remember her walking around carrying her little baby doll, always talking about when she was going to get married and be a mommy- now she is all grown up and has turned out to be a magnificent woman! Alex is sure a lucky guy. We all gathered, and there was a lot of us, at the Bountiful Temple on March 19th, 2011. It was a beautiful ceremony, and it is always such a joy to see the love and support from all who gathered to wait for them. The weather report had said chance of rain- we missed that but got the freezing temperatures. Later in the day it snowed, luckily we were all inside by then. I have to applaud everyone for braving the cold to take pictures with Alex and Jodi.

After freezing our little tushies off we went to the luncheon with beautiful decorations, wonderful food and amazing laughs. Check out these desserts, yeah, it's ok- you can wipe the drool now!

After the luncheon was the reception. I am always truly amazed at how ordinary rooms become so beautiful for these weddings. I was also impressed at the beautiful rings that Alex and Jodi have!

Jodi wanted me to capture some moments of her getting ready. It is always tender to see a mother and daughter bond like this. I'm glad I was part of it!

My favorite part- THE CAKE!!
I remember somewhat fondly cake being shoved into my face, so it always give me pleasure to see it happen for other people too!

Alex and Jodi were troopers, lasting through the whole long day, but they were pretty excited to share their first dance. They are such an amazing couple and I wish them all the happiness in the world!

Wedding

Weddings are a lot of fun to do. With couples that are already so happy and smiling away it's easy to get some great shots.
